Stable cooling performance at reduced energy consumption – R448A is a modern, non-flammable replacement for R404A/R507 and suits both new plant and retrofit work with minimal modification.

R448A is an HFO/HFC refrigerant (Solstice N40) with a GWP of 1387, precisely formulated as a practical tool for a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration applications.

  • Blend (wt%): R32 26%, R125 26%, R134a 20%, R1234yf 21%, R1234ze(E) 7%
  • GWP: 1387
  • Safety: safety class A1 (non-flammable); oil: POE
  • Temperature glide: approximately 6 K
