Product description
R452A – 10 kg in a refillable cylinder delivers dependable low-temperature cooling and is the high-performance replacement for R404A and R507. The trade name Opteon XP44 stands for effective refrigeration in demanding systems. Typical applications include transport refrigeration on lorries, refrigerated trailers and delivery vehicles, frozen food cabinets in supermarkets, cold rooms in catering, and bakeries, butchers and large warehouses. Thanks to POE oil compatibility, R452A suits both new plant and the conversion of existing systems – often without major modification.
- Lower global warming potential: GWP approximately 1945, substantially below R404A – supports F-Gas compliance.
- Capacity and discharge characteristics similar to R404A – straightforward retrofit with no significant loss of performance.
- Safety and handling: safety class A1, non-flammable, non-toxic.
- Environment and use: operates in ambient temperatures up to +50 °C; long-term thermal stability.
